The Private University of Angola, initially designated as the Instituto Superior Privado de Angola, is a higher education institution created in 2000 with the aim of providing higher education for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Health, Social Sciences and Exact Sciences.

UPRA – Private University of Angola was also the first institution in the country to develop a Master's Degree in Health Management, in a partnership developed with Higher Education institutions in the Federative Republic of Brazil. 

This year, the Private University of Angola created the Centro Policlinico Universitário, an institution that will support clinical training for undergraduate and graduate students in Health, completing its independence in the area of ​​Health training.

The Institution has fulfilled the academic requirements for the exercise of the training activity in accordance with the legal requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Angola, having awarded thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It is in this way that it also becomes the first private academic institution to organize an International Health Congress.

The 1st International Congress of Medicine of the Private University of Angola aims to encourage the exchange of experiences not only among Angolan health professionals but also to broaden scientific exchange with other national and international health professionals and institutions. 




Promote the exchange of knowledge between Angola's national and international health frameworks in the technical-professional, scientific research, publication and communication domains, with a view to ensuring the development of technical skills
